Our Caregiver & Child classes provide an opportunity for young children from birth to three years and their parents or caregivers to come together in a joyful and nurturing environment.

Pregnancy to 3 months - Tuesdays 9-11am:

Children are gently guided through the morning by the same comforting rhythm every week and experience free play, snack preparation, morning circle, story time, snack, and outdoor time together. The natural world and seasonal festivals are reflected during the class. In the Fall the Lantern Walk festival will be celebrated. The Spring semester will celebrate May Day, and during class, we prepare ourselves for that through stories and activities. These classes will be an opportunity to cultivate one’s artistic side and enjoy each other’s company, as well as explore some of the challenges and inspirations of being a parent in these busy times.

3 months to 3 Years - Wednesdays 9-11AM:

This class serves as a space for families to deepen their understanding of their child’s development through observation and discussion. Articles and discussion topics will explore methods of caregiving and Rudolf Steiner’s picture of the human being. A small, simple snack is provided for adults and babies who are eating solids. Caregivers will be guided in learning songs and games to continually build their relationship with their baby. There is time to enjoy learning and sharing as a group to develop and enrich parenting approaches.
