Gnome More Debt

Our “Gnome More Debt” Capital Campaign is a call to secure Juniper’s future.

By raising this money (which will bring us to our total goal of $108,000 raised this year) we can lift the burden of debt, establish an emergency fund, expand support for our incredible teachers (including health care and retirement benefits), enrich our unique indoor and outdoor learning spaces, and ensure that this magical, nurturing education remains accessible to families of all income levels.

They help us offer a range of educational experiences for the students, provide support for professional development, fund community connections, provide continued care and growth of our physical spaces, and they also help support day-to-day costs of operating the school.

The Waldorf Method Education Scholarship Association (WMESA)

WMESA is it’s own separate non-profit organization that provides scholarships directly

to students of The Juniper School.

By donating to the WMESA, you get to direct where your OH state taxes go!

The State of Ohio has recently passed legislation allowing a state income tax credit for monetary donations to an eligible scholarship granting organization (SGO). 

This credit reduces your Ohio tax liability by the total amount donated to the SGO in any given tax year, up to a maximum of $750 per taxpayer, and a maximum of $1500 for taxpayer and spouse filing jointly. 

Stock Donations

We are now able to accept stock donations at The Juniper School. Our organization encourages you to donate stock rather than cash. Stock donations are up to 37% more tax-efficient, helping you avoid capital gains tax on any appreciated stock. Stock donations are fully deductible if you have owned the stock for more than one year. Please consider donating your appreciated stock to our organization to help us receive the full value of your donation, and to save you on your taxes!
